  • FAQs

How long will it take to start seeing results?

As all dogs are individual, so too are their results. Results vary depending on your pup's age, breed, weight and underlying health conditions - as well as their exposure to whatever is triggering the itch.

Some dogs notice a difference within one or two weeks. While others might take eight weeks of daily chews to feel the full benefits.

For those on treatment plans, our vets are on hand to talk you through the process as you go and work through potential allergen exposure to get the best results.

My pup's a little particular; will they like the taste?

We intentionally crafted our Itching and Allergy supplements to make sure dogs find them delicious. With a natural chicken flavour that could tempt even the fussiest of palettes!

Is this product suitable for dog's that suffer from allergies?

We have made every effort to make this chew as allergen-free as possible. However, due to the nature of the ingredients, it may not be suitable for dogs with fish allergies. If you're not sure, please get in touch with our lovely team.

No more smells!

I was doubtful that a little chew would make any difference to the smelly fluid that came from Bertie’s bottom but after two weeks of a daily chew he has had no more trouble.

  • Packed with active ingredients

    Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 isn't just great for keeping our pup’s heart healthy, brains functioning, coats shining, and immune systems firing. Omega-3 also reduces itchy and flaky skin and can help relieve allergies and joint pain.

Like us, dog's don't produce Omega-3, which is an essential fat. Because their body can't make it from scratch, pups rely on getting it from alternative sources (via food and supplements).

This study showed that after six weeks, dogs supplemented with fish oil omega 3s showed significant improvements in itching, self-trauma and coat quality*.

    Turmeric Root

Turmeric is a natural source of curcumin, which can help to soothe skin by balancing your pup’s inflammatory system.

In one study, dogs fed snacks containing curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) showed decreased inflammatory cells, meaning reduced redness, heat, itching, sensitivity, and swelling. The same study showed that curcumin can increase a dog's antioxidant system stimulation, which is great news for your pup as antioxidants help to protect cells from damage.

    Grape Seed Extract

Grape Seed is a strong antioxidant that helps to reduce itching and soothe irritation.

This study shows it can help to reduce yeast issues (Candida Albicans) after just five days*.

    Quercetin

Another antioxidant that acts as an anti-inflammatory helping to soothe symptoms, defend against environmental pollutants and calm sensitivities.

Quercetin is a polyphenol, which this study has shown can reduce the signs of skin inflammation and skin allergies effectively*.

    Pumpkin Powder

Pumpkin powder is a natural source of vitamin C, E and zinc to support optimal immune function.

This study shows Vitamin C plays a pivotal role in forming the skin barrier and in collagen synthesis (the body's natural process of producing collagen)*.

    Bromelain

Bromelain is a naturally occurring enzyme taken from the stem, fruit, and juice of the pineapple plant which can help to balance inflammation.

This study shows bromelain has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect that can limit swelling and reduce skin irritation*.

The Timeline:

A healthy skin barrier protects your dog from all kinds of daily threats, including pollution, sunlight, parasites and bacteria. Though you can't see it happening, your dog can shed skin cells. New, healthy skin cells are built beneath the skin's surface, ready to replace matured ones that eventually shed off every 30(ish) days. Like hair, it's a constant cycle.

Adding supplements to your dog's diet helps support healthy cell turnover in the short and long term. Here's what's happening inside and out when you give your dog daily skin protection:

  • Week 1

In the first week, grape seed extract and bromelain get to work balancing inflammatory systems which help to soothe irritated skin.

  • Week 8

Zinc and Vit C from Pumpkin sources help to level up collagen and support tissue repair for strong, supple skin.

  • Month 4

Quercetin and Grape seed extract provide an essential defence against pollution, sunlight and environmental damage to help protect skin.

  • Month 6

Omega fatty acids play an essential role in keeping skin soft, hydrated and supple. (As a bonus, you'll notice their coat looking glossier too!)

  • Year 1+

With continued use, Omega-3s it can help to benefit your pup beyond skin health with improved moods, eye health and brain function.
