This is free insurance with no catch. Subscribe to any Scooch product, and If your pet has an accident or injury, you can claim to help cover the cost of vet bills. If you have an existing policy this can still be used as a top-up for an extra £1,000 worth of cover, and there is no obligation to buy a full, paid-for policy.

Is Illness covered by my embedded policy?
No - Your free embedded policy provided by Scooch covers you and your pet for external accidents and injuries only.
Is there an upper age limit?
Many providers stop insuring new customers when their pet reaches a certain age. Perfect Pet has no upper age limit so you can continue to take cover. A 15% co-payment applies in addition to the policy
excess for dogs aged 8+ Years and cats aged 10+ Years.
Can I register for the free Scooch cover if my pet is already insured with another pet insurance provider?
Yes - The Scooch free embedded policy works as a 'top-up' where you have another pet insurance policy in force. You therefore need to claim on your other policy first and the Scooch policy will kick in once you have exhausted cover under your other policy.
How do I make a claim?
You simply access the claims section on the Perfect Pet website to download the claim form which you need to complete and return to us at ClaimForm@perfectpetinsurance.co.uk.
You need to pass a section of the claim to your vet who will provide details of the treatment provided before passing it to us with a copy of the invoice and your pets clinic history notes.
